This is a deal you’ll be pleased to meat. Savenor’s Market features only the highest quality meats, cheeses and produce—but it doesn’t stop there. Their selection runs the gamut from beef brisket to goose, wild boar and gator. Celebrity chef Julia Child was one of their most famous regulars – along with the Kennedys and Rockefellers – and used Savenor’s as the source for all of the meat on “The French Chef.” In fact, legendary butcher, Jack Savenor made several guest appearances on her PBS show.

Why “They” Love Savenor’s Market?
“Just great selections of high quality food---nice meat selection including every type of cut out there, also have anywhere from kobe beef to lamb. A lot of famous chefs go here. Pricey but excellent quality for gourmet cooking.”
–So S., Boston, MA
“I love this place! This is a tiny little market in a very convenient nook near Beacon Hill. They have such great produce and, these two are my favorite, Herrell’s Ice-Cream and foreign fruit juice brand: Looza. The prices are a little bit high, but the quality and convenience is high.”
-Seth P., Boston, MA
“There’s nothing like high quality products paired with obsessive service.
I called Savenor’s to get baby back ribs. They did not have them in stock, but told me they could order them for the next day, which was a pleasant surprise. I needed them about 4 days later, so when I showed up, there they were.
The next big plus was that they had ordered a bit more than I wanted and without hesitation, they trimmed them down to the size I wanted, which I thought was pretty awesome considering that it’s apparently not an item they normally keep in stock.
Impressed.”
