Why “They” Love Zocalo:
“The food and sangria at Zocalo are great! Their sangria is the best in town, with a decent selection of both white and red. They are very reasonably priced (a good sized sangria is less than $6). The rest of the menu is interesting and diverse, I’d recommend the avocado salad and tamales! The atmosphere is pleasant, very clean and not too crowded. The wait staff seems friendly and helpful!”

“Truly transcendent! The ceviche was made fresh at the table and transported me straight to Eden! The atmosphere was relaxed and elegant. Our waitress Joy was charming. I had an enchilada which was browned to perfection and a mango margarita on recommendation from the server. Couldn’t bear for the meal to end so I split a Dulce de Leche with my date. So decadent!”

“I love coming here for food. Their chicken mole enchiladas are delightful, and I love that mole sauce. Their service is fantastic – my water glass is bottomless. Their servers constantly refill our chips and salsa too. Mmm… their salsa is so good. The guacamole is made right at the table. I’m generally not a fan of guacamole, but this is good stuff. I also love coming here just for drinks. We order pitchers of sangria, munch on chips, salsa, and guacamole, and chat. I like all of their sangrias (they have several flavors), but the peach one is my favorite. Our nights out drinking are spent here because I much prefer this atmosphere over a bar.”
