We fell in love over Wagyu Pastrami and Hamachi Crudo, and then again over Wild Striped Bass and Fettuccine. And when dessert came out, we fell even deeper in love with Cotton Candy and Salted Caramel Ice Cream Sandwiches. So get ready to open your heart, err we mean your mouth, and excite your palate by looking no further than Biltmore’s noca.
A James Beard Foundation semi-finalist for “Best New Restaurant” in the U.S., Wine Spectator Magazine’s “Award of Excellence,” and The Arizona Republic’s “Best Place to Impress a Foodie,” noca is a culinary gem that offers fresh, Modern American fare with delectable entrees and sinfully good desserts. And since we’ve always been a sinner when it comes to food, we got you an amazing deal: $25 for $50 worth of food and drinks at noca.
With a menu that changes daily to reflect the best of the season, including local organic produce, fresh fish and prime meats, and house-made pastas, it’s nearly impossible to pick a favorite dish. But, as always, there are some stand-outs: scrumptious appetizers include Local Melon & Heirloom Tomato Salad (with Marcona Almonds and smoked paprika oil), Chilled Parsnip Soup, and an array of fresh pastas like Fettuccine (with Wellfleet clams, wild striped bass, mint and acqua pazza). For main entrees, you’ve got to try the Lamb T-Bones, Wild Sturgeon, and the Prime Flat Iron Steak.
And with today’s deal, your Wednesday nights (hump day!), just got a little more exciting, because noca’s Wednesday special is one of Phoenix Magazine’s pick for “Phoenix’s Best Sandwiches:” noca Lobster Roll. Think: Maine lobster, celery root, and fine herbs atop a fresh baked roll spread with roasted garlic aioli and served with duck fat French fries. We’re thinking noca may just be our new foodie heaven.
They also have a $50 four-course chef’s tasting menu, an extensive wine and cocktail list, and as if noca couldn’t get any better, they have out-of-this-world desserts…lots of them. Our fave is the trio of warm doughnuts served with dulce de leche jam, strawberry jelly, and dark chocolate syrup with chocolate nibs, and O-M-G you can add a malted vanilla milkshake to wash it all down. You’ll also get complimentary cotton candy (a different flavor every night!) to top off the evening.
You can buy up to five vouchers (use one per guest per visit) for you or your foodie friends and family. So stock up, take in the “noca calories don’t count” sign on the front door, and indulge.
