“This is my go-to comic store; I used to be a regular until finances forced me to cut back on my hobby. Yet, when I paid a visit here for Free Comic Book Day, I didn't realize how much I missed the place. It's a bit more organized now than it used to be - and not just that, the staff are still as friendly as I remember (and they still remembered me despite being gone for about a year or two)! Still a great selection of books and merch…so if you want to get your nerdcore on, this is the place!” –Steve F.
“Wow this is an amazing store. They have EVERYTHING. Comics, trades, busts, dolls, shirts, etc. I also don't get that "You're a female and you're in here, why?" vibe that I sometimes get from being in comic book stores… Anyway, they have GREAT deals here as well. I just scored some Buffy figurines that were buy one get one 50% off which is AWESOME because Buffy figurines are SO hard to find now… They also have Star Trek merch which is nice because my dad is a HUGE fan…They're also quite nice and helpful with questions. The store comes off as a great, home away from home hangout which is how a comic book store should always be.” –Elizabeth A.
“Awesome selection of monthlies and trades. Definitely browser friendly. They even had some autographed stuff from The Looking Glass Wars series. Very laid back clerks. Super helpful if you need to find anything, and the Tuesday we went in they were open until 9pm. Definitely recommend Comickaze for any of your comic/ collectible/ nerd-core needs.” –Lauren P.
“Hands down, the best store to get your geek reading on in San Diego! The place is filled with good stuff and the people who work here are super friendly. They don’t overprice their old stuff like other places and they have one of the largest collections of trades, not just from the big 2, but from independent stuff as well…when I ride into town I always make time to always stop by here!” –Mark L.
